Now I lay me down to sleep
I pray to Lord, eternally.
The angels watch me through the night
To make sure I won't wake in morning light.
Amen.
Something I wrote last night after my friend told me about something she's doing. She's taking little things lots of people know (nursery rhymes, prayers, popular songs etc.) and changing the meaning of them by replacing as few words as possible. I hope you like it.
